Trapped In The House
I really thought that my days of being trapped in the house were over until at least the end of October or mid-November. Looks likes that’s not the case. I have about 18 inches of snow in my driveway, and about three feet of snow in the road between me and freedom. We’ve been put on the list of roads to be cleared, but since we’re a cul-de-sac, we get the bottom priority. It’s supposed to be really warm the rest of the week, but I doubt that it will be warm enough to melt off the accumulated snow. I can only hope that one of my neighbors with a tractor, or the county gets by to dig us out sometime soon.
I really can’t wait to get to Texas next week while on vacation because I’m pretty sure that it won’t be snowing in April in San Antonio! If it does, I’m going to keep driving south until I reach the equator. I’m tired of this shit!
